[Excerpt from D1, below, regarding Cancellations: The Risk-Free Trial period is for 7 days. If you wish to cancel without being charged, you MUST cancel your Sentry account within that initial 7 days. To Cancel, go into your PayPal Account and click the Cancel Subscription button for the Sentry subscription. We DO NOT handle cancellation requests sent to us by E-mail; you are responsible for cancelling your own subscription. You have full control of your subscriptions inside your PayPal account. This is for your protection. If we acted upon e-mailed cancellation requests, anyone claiming to be you could e-mail and cause the unauthorized cancellation of your account. Sentry DOES NOT REFUND fees paid to us under any circumstances. Sentry is under NO OBLIGATION to provide you with a refund at any time or for any amount after the initial 7 day period, even if the account rebills.] A- Description / System & Know-how Requirements: A1) Sentry is a 3rd Party Membership Access Management System and is (optionally) affected in an interconnected database capacity by PayPal Instant Payment Notification (IPN). A2) Sentry is not a payment processor and has no formal business relationship or affiliation with any payment processor, including PayPal. A3) Sentry is designed to operate with PayPal's IPN notifications and does not purport to be anything other than a Membership Access Management System. A4) Sentry does not gain access to your credit card information nor the credit card information of your subscribers. Sentry employees have no direct access to any personal information, including e-mail addresses, of your members. A5) No payment processor, including PayPal, is obligated to assist Sentry users or members of Sentry users in any way. Such technical assistance is provided by Sentry. A6) System & Know-how Requirements: It is assumed that you are familiar with a computer, that you know how to edit your website, that you know how to access the source code which comprises your web pages, that you know how to copy and paste, that you know how to download files, and that you know how to upload files to your server. B- Usage: B1) Sentry is to be used to provide a scripted login gateway to a membership website and to manage the members of that website. B2) Because Sentry permits you to add custom fields to the member registration form, it is critical to stress that Sentry's form itself is NOT to be used to collect financial information such as credit card data. (Member Payments are handled securely by the Payment Processor, such as PayPal.) Sentry will NOT be liable for the safety of such information. (see section on Limit of Liability). B3) Sentry does not allow Adult Sites, or Drug Related Sites. This is proctored manually. Further, any material Sentry staff deems inappropriate will not be permitted and the account will be closed. There are no refunds given for this violation of Terms of Use. B4) Sentry reserves the right to refuse service to any website or customer, for any reason. B5) Privacy Policy: Sentry does not ever divulge or pass on the personal information or e-mail addresses of you or your members to anyone, anywhere, ever, at any time. You have full privacy. Sentry employees have no direct access to any personal information, including e-mail addresses, of your members. There are no advertisements anywhere in the Sentry Login application. Your members do not see any advertising. The Google ads on our public site are the only ads we display. We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Ads by Google are keyword-targeted advertisements provided through the Google AdWords™ and/or Google AdSense™ programs. These listings are administered, sorted and maintained by Google. For information about these Google ads, go to adwords.google.com. Google may place or recognize a unique "cookie" on your Web browser. Information from this cookie may be used by Google to help provide advertisers with more targeted adveritising opportunities. C2) Under no circumstances will Sentry be liable for unauthorized entry to your site or for data theft due to unauthorized entry. Sentry is a server-side script; such unauthorized entries can only be possible where the member(s) themselves are/were careless with critical login credentials, your page was coded incorrectly by you or your designers, or your server webhost fails to support provisioned scripting interpretation, all scenarios which Sentry has no control over. Sentry does not employ Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for logins. (Payments are encrypted via SSL and are handled by the Payment Processor, such as PayPal.) C3) Sentry does not peruse, utilize, sell, transmit, or otherwise manipulate any data that you or your members enter into the Sentry database. D- Free Trial / Billing / Cancellation / Refunds: DA) One Free Trial per person, entity, domain, or company. The System automatically detects any attempt(s) to obtain the Free Trial a second time, even if a different PayPal Account or domain is used. Accounts are automatically deleted without refund if such abuse is detected. D1) The Risk-Free period is for 7 days.
